Riesye Arisanty / 3rd months diary
So many things to be done, and so little time left..

It’s the best phrase to express what i felt in my third monts here.. I’m trying to write a nice case report for publish in the journal ( I hope.. ☺ ) before i finished my training. . I’ll keep on trying to improve and sharpen my diagnostic skills..

So.. don’t want to waste my time... ☺ SEMANGAT.... !!!

Gayle Opada/March diary
This month is more of “Image-matching”. I am getting more familiar with the cases and learned how to differentiate each. I also started answering the virtual slides but when I did, I usually spend more time at night answering it than reading my book. So, I decided to just read my books more since I still need to learn the basics of Dermatopathology.

For the past 3 months, I may say, “I have gained a lot, not just knowledge but also fats”. So for my remaining 9 months, I am hoping to lose more fats and gain much knowledge.

“And what, Socrates, is the food of the soul? Surely, I said, knowledge is the food of the soul.” - Plato

I have spent more of my weekends just reading and studying. I was a little bit traumatized by our latest trip to Abashiri on the 1st day of March where we got stuck for 3 days and 2 nights because of the snow storm. It was supposedly a day trip and we did not bring anything except for money and camera. Despite the snow storm, cancelled train and cancelled ships, we still managed to see the floating ice. But I have learned my lessons well. And I still want to explore Japan. The place is just beautiful. Amazing Japan.
